MEMORIAL DAY

Today, we remember all the U.S. armed forces we’ve lost in combat and those who continue to serve and protect our great nation.

Arlington National Cemetery is one of two cemeteries in the United States National Cemetery System that are maintained by the United States Army. Nearly 400,000 members of the Armed Forces who died on active duty are buried in its 639 acres in Arlington, Virginia.  Annual remembrance ceremonies take place at the cemetery on Memorial Day (last Monday of May) and Veterans Day.

While we honor the soldiers we’ve lost, we extend our gratitude to those who continue to serve and protect our country today.

May we forge a brighter future for our country and keep it protected with peace.

God Bless America!
